Insurance Coverage
Most evaluations are covered in large part by major PPO insurance plans from
Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare, and Cigna.
Before scheduling, we verify your insurance benefits directly to help you understand your coverage and estimated out-of-pocket costs in advance. Coverage varies by plan and deductible.
Out-of-network options and superbills are available for clients outside our insurance scope.

What to Expect During Your Evaluation
Every assessment follows a structured, multi-session process designed to be thorough without being overwhelming.

Free Consultation
We’ll discuss your concerns and goals to determine which evaluation tier best fits your needs. Insurance benefits are verified in advance so you have a clear understanding of coverage.
15 minutes · Phone or Video

Clinical Interview
A thorough review of your developmental history and current concerns, along with an in-depth conversation about your experiences in a comfortable, in-person setting.
4 - 8 hours · In-Office

Testing Sessions
Standardized cognitive, achievement, and ADHD-specific measures are administered one-on-one. You’ll work directly with Dr. Buckelew in real time, allowing for careful observation and thoughtful interpretation.

Feedback & Report
Within approximately two weeks, you’ll receive a comprehensive clinical report. A dedicated feedback session with Dr. Buckelew provides time to review findings in depth, ask questions, and discuss clear next steps.
